  • The Elephanta Caves are open to visitors every day of the week except Mondays.
  • Timings: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Entry Fee:

  • For Indian visitors: ₹40 per person
  • For foreign visitors: ₹600 per person

Exploring the Caves: Upon reaching the island, a short climb will lead you to a network of caves that date back to the 5th to 8th centuries. The caves are predominantly dedicated to Lord Shiva and are divided into two main groups – the larger one featuring five impressive caves and a smaller one with two caves.
