1 Amruteshwar Temple




Amruteshwar Temple is recognized as one of the mostly visited tourist places near Shirdi. Located at a distance of 115 km from Shirdi, near the banks of holy river Pravara, it is one of the ancient temples of Lord Shiva; and built by the Shilahara dynasty in 9th century A.D.


This unique architecture is derived from Hemadpanthi architectural style, built with black and red stones. Furthermore, the temple is embellished with captivating ceilings and decorated walls.


Tourists who come here, other than prayers, they also get mesmerized with the construction and the age-old tradition. As the place is well-connected with buses, people can reach the destination anytime seamlessly.

3 Khandoba Mandir



Khandoba Mandir carries a rich history and holiness to its followers. By having famous icons of Khandoba, Banai, and Mhalsai, it has very close relevance to Shirdi Sai Baba. In this temple, two artis at 12.00 noon and 6.00 pm are performed as daily rituals. It is situated just opposite to the Shirdi bus stand, where the staunch devotees of Sai Baba would never miss to visit this temple.


Evidently, a rectangular sandpit is present in front of the temple, which was used to perform fire-walking in early days. However, this tradition has been stopped. Thus, people now come here to attain a peaceful mind and blessings from God.

4 Lendi Baug



Lendi Garden, an iconic park was once embraced by Sai Baba. This colourful garden contains a shrine; a burning lamp placed between two trees which were lit by Baba, and some attractive tombs. To our surprise, this is the place where Baba enjoyed his solitude and made it one of his daily routines.


This pleasant greenery is meant for family tourists and flower admirers. Considering Lendi Garden’s location near Shirdi-Manmade State Highway, tourists, who are fond of places to visit near Shirdi, will spend a valuable time here. To highlight the beauty of the garden, an alluring fountain has been built at the center.

5 Chavadi




If we look into the past, Chavadi in Shirdi was used as a meeting place, court or office, and also collected taxes, maintained village records, etc. After Baba’s demise, it was used as a storeroom and accommodating pilgrims. However, since the 1930s, Chavadi has become a shrine to Baba and made open to the public.


This well-preserved place attracts both pilgrims and travellers to visit and feel the quietness. Inside the room, it has been split into two sections, one side for men and the other side for women to come and pray separately. There are many places to visit near Shirdi and Chavadi is one such place worth coming with your family.

6 The land of Sai Baba



Located at a distance of 122 Km from Nasik in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, Shirdi is the home of Sai Baba. It is believed that Sai Baba arrived at Shirdi in 1858 and spent 60 years of his life here until he attained salvation in 1918. Sai Baba is popularly known as the 'child of God', as he always spread the message of universal brotherhood.


Apart from his shrine, there are many small temples in the complex, such as Chavadi, Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai. Shani Shignapur is located at a distance of 72km from Shirdi
