1 Siddheshwar Temple




The temple is dedicated to its namesake Siddheshwar, a twelfth-century devotee of Shiva who is considered a god in the Lingayat faith and the grāmadevatā of Solapur. It is at the temple's site where he is recorded as having attained samadhi, and as such the location is revered by devotees. Upon achieving samadhi in 1167AD, Siddeshwar attained samadhi and A marble samadhi exists at the centre of the temple today.


2 Akkalkot Swami Samarth Maharaj Temple



Swami Samarth Maharaj Temple also known as swami of Akkalkot widely known for his spiritual figure various in various parts of India. He lived in the 19th century. Swami Samratha died in the year 1878 after that they are worshipped at Swami Math where devotees come to worship from all over India.

Great Indian Bustard Sanctuary (established in 1979, also known as the Jawaharlal Nehru Bustard Sanctuary of Maharashtra) is a wildlife sanctuary for the great Indian bustard (Ardeotis nigriceps) at Solapur, Maharashtra, India. The land is drought-prone and semi-arid. It is in the Deccan thorn scrub forests ecoregion maharasthtra.

The Solapur Bhuikot Killa (Fort) is one of the major tourist locations in Solapur, Maharashtra. This fort is not only an ancient Muslim fort located in Solapur, but also one of the ancient historical and religious places in Maharashtra.


5 Hipparga Lake



The Ekrukh Hipparga Talao is actually a culmination of the Hipparga Talao – aka the Hipparga Lake – and the Ekrukh Tank that is attached to the lake. This tank was established during the time when Solapur was under the British rule. It was set up by a certain Colonel Fife.


This Talao has an abundant amount of water all year long and was a main source of water supply to the entire district of Solapur. The Ekrukh Tank at the lake is considered to be the second largest irrigation project in the entire region of Deccan.
